Recipes / juices to reduce cough
Beetroot has many benefits known to us
Root vegetables help boost our immunity with all its essential nutrients. It is rich in vitamins C and B9. It is also a good source of iron, potassium and fiber, among others. But did you know that you can use beets to help with coughing?
Beetroot has antiseptic properties that can kill bacteria and viruses that do not get sick. It also helps produce healthy red blood cells that help the body fight infections. Therefore, beetroot is a great natural remedy for people with cough problems. I will share with you some of the different recipes that you can make with beetroot to help relieve cough.

1. SHEEP AND VEGETABLE JUICE WITH BEETS
This compact juice is one of the best beetroot recipes I have ever drunk. Contains beets, apple, ginger and carrots, which are loaded with all the essential means of combating cough. Apples have immune-boosting properties that prevent certain diseases. It is also loaded with antioxidants and a great addition to this beetroot juice recipe. Ginger, on the other hand, has anti-inflammatory properties that relax the airway membranes and make coughing easier. Meanwhile, carrots are considered a natural bronchodilator and expectorant. Thus, it is good for relieving wet and productive coughs.

Ingredients:
1 beet of medium size, peeled
1 apple, peeled
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled
2 carrots, peeled
¼ A glass of apple juice or water

Cut the beet into quarters and cut and remove the core from the apple
Drain the liquid (apple juice or water) in a blender and add a handful of solid ingredients. Stir until smooth. Add more solid ingredients gradually until you are done. Each blender has its own capacity, so be careful not to exhaust your blender by putting too much in one go.
Once mixed, you can drink the mixture as it is. However, you can also strain it with a fine mesh strainer to extract the liquid. Squeeze the pulp with a spatula or similar tool to remove more liquid from the juice mixture.
Drink the juice as soon as you finish the procedure. It is best to drink it fresh. But you can also store it in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.

2. BEET JUICE WITH CINNAMON
If you want a simple beetroot recipe without using too many ingredients, then this is for you. The juice is full of antioxidant properties of beet. It is also very easy to do and can help with cough problems. Cinnamon, on the other hand, has antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-infective properties that help with coughs, colds and nasal congestion.
Since I already have organic beetroot juice that I bought in the store, there was no need to extract the beetroot juice by hand. But if you want to have fresh juice from the vegetables themselves, you can do it by putting beets in a juicer. You can also use a blender and squeeze the juice from the mixed beets.
Pour the juice into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon on top. Enjoy the drink!
You can drink 1 glass of beet juice a day to maximize its nutrients and positive effects on your body. Beetroot is also great for those who have a problem with sugar.
